Fees

Fees are the costs Pilops takes out of what you earn or charges for certain actions. Knowing them helps you read the numbers on a flight report.
Flight fee
Every completed flight pays a flight fee of 10% of the money earned on that flight. It is applied after the condition of the goods and the Flight streak bonus have been taken into account. The rest is your profit.
| Step | Example |
|---|---|
| Jobs delivered, at full condition | P$ 10,000 |
| Streak bonus (day 3: +10%) | P$ 11,000 |
| Flight fee (10%) | − P$ 1,100 |
| Profit | P$ 9,900 |
On a company flight, that profit is then split between you and the company according to the commission.
Condition
Goods have a condition from 0 to 100%. What a job pays is its price multiplied by its condition at delivery, so cargo that arrives in poor shape pays less. Flight alerts also lower the flight's rating: 20 points per warning and 50 per critical alert. See Landing score.
Marketplace listing fee
Listing an aircraft on the Marketplace costs 11% of the asking price, charged when you create the listing. It is not refunded if the aircraft does not sell.
Moving an aircraft
Moving an aircraft to a hangar at another airport costs P$ 2,000 for every 10 nautical miles (rounded up), or one tenth of that amount in Pilop Points. See Managing your aircraft.
Other costs
These are prices rather than fees, but they come up when reading the Bank:
- Fuel: P$ 3 per lb of AvGas, P$ 5 per lb of Jet-A1. See Fuel.
- Stand rent and route creation. See Stands and Routes.
- Route boost: Pp$ 200. See Route boost.
- Maintenance speed-up: Pp$ 100 per day. See Maintenance.
- Prefix change: Pp$ 350. See Managing your aircraft.
