A company owns its own aircraft and hangars, separate from the personal assets of its pilots. They are bought with the company balance by the admin, and used by every member.
Company hangars
- Company hangars belong to a hub. The admin buys them from the hub page, at any airport inside that hub's radius.
- Each hub holds at most 4 hangars.
- Hangar sizes and prices are the same as for personal hangars. See Hangars.
- A company needs at least one hangar before it can buy an aircraft, because the aircraft is delivered to a hangar.
Company aircraft
- The admin can buy or rent aircraft for the company. The category must be unlocked by the company's tier: a Regional company cannot buy or rent jets or airliners.
- A rented company aircraft must be based at an airport inside the operating area.
- Members pick company aircraft on the New Flight page like their own. The flight is a company flight: the company's jobs are available, and revenue is split according to the Commission.
- The admin can cancel a company flight in progress.
Refuelling with company money
When Company refuel is on, pilots may pay fuel for a company aircraft from the company balance; the fuel step offers the company account as a payment method. When it is off, pilots pay fuel from their own account. The admin switches this in the company settings.
Maintenance and prefixes
Maintenance of company aircraft, speeding it up with Pilop Points and changing an aircraft's registration prefix are paid from the company balance. See Maintenance and Managing your aircraft.
