Creating your account takes a couple of minutes and costs nothing. You need an e-mail address and a nickname. No credit card is asked for.
Sign up
- Go to pilops.com and sign up. Pilops uses a hosted login page, so the same e-mail and password work on the website and in the Pilops Client.
- After the first login, Pilops asks for a few details: First Name, Last Name, Country and Nickname. The nickname is how other pilots see you, on the live map, in rankings and on your Profile. It must be between 4 and 24 characters.
- Check your inbox. Pilops sends a confirmation e-mail, and the page says Check your email with a Resend email button if it does not arrive. You need to confirm the e-mail before using the platform.
If a friend referred you, the sign-up page shows You were referred by '…' and will earn a bonus of P$1,000! The bonus is paid in Pilops Coins.
Once the e-mail is confirmed, the app takes you to the Onboarding, where you get your first aircraft.
Changing things later
- Nickname, language, units and privacy are changed in Settings.
- Password: Settings has a Change password section that sends a reset e-mail. It only works for accounts that signed up with an e-mail and password.
- Deleting the account is also done from Settings, with a confirmation code sent by e-mail. See Deleting your account.
