This is the approved revision of this page, as well as being the most recent.
You can delete your account yourself, from the app, in two steps. It cannot be undone.
Steps
- Open Settings and scroll to the Delete Account section at the bottom.
- Click Delete account. Pilops e-mails a confirmation code to the address registered on your account. Nothing is deleted yet.
- Enter the code in the second dialog and click Delete my account. The code expires after 15 minutes and allows 5 attempts; if it expires, start again from step 2.
- Your session ends. The account is gone.
If the e-mail does not arrive, check the spam folder before asking for help on Support.
What happens to your data
- Your personal data is anonymised and your login is deleted. The nickname is released.
- Your avatar is deleted.
- You are removed from every company, and any pending company applications are withdrawn.
- Your aircraft are removed, your hangars and rented stands are released, and your routes are deleted together with the cargo they had generated.
- Marketplace listings where you were the seller or the buyer are closed.
- Flights you completed remain in the records of the companies and routes involved, without your name.
The account's Pilops Coins and Pilop Points go with it; nothing is paid out or moved elsewhere. If you want to keep them, transfer them to another pilot or to a company before deleting. See Bank.
