Airport page

From Pilops Wiki
More languages
This is the approved revision of this page, as well as being the most recent.

The airport page is what opens when you search for an airport in the Airports screen or click an airport anywhere in the app. It shows what that airport has to offer and what you already own there.

Finding an airport

Use Airport Search on the Airports screen. You can search by ICAO code (for example SBVT), by airport name or by city. Below the search, Airports of Interest lists the airports where you already have hangars, aircraft, stands or routes, so you can get back to your bases quickly.

Airports are classified as small, medium or large. The size is shown on the page and drives how much demand the airport generates. See Airport size and demand.

Tabs

Details
The airport's name, city, country and size, plus a summary of what you have there.
Cargo
The cargo and passengers currently available at this airport, with destination, weight, distance and payment. This is the same list you see in the Cargo step when planning a flight from here. See Cargo and passengers.
Hangars
Your hangars at this airport (or your company's), with the aircraft parked in each one. From here you can buy a hangar at this airport. See Hangars.
Stands
The stands at this airport: how many of each size exist, which ones are free, and which ones are rented and by whom. From here you rent a stand. See Stands.
Routes
Active routes that start or end at this airport, with their ICAO code and status. See Routes.

Company context

When you open an airport page from a company screen (for example to rent a stand or buy a hangar for the company), the page tells you whether the airport is inside the company's operating area. Outside it, the message reads This airport is outside the company hub range and the action is blocked. See Hubs and operating area.
