Roles and permissions describe who can do what inside a company. There are two levels in practice: the admin who founded the company, and the members who fly for it. (A manager role exists with the same powers as the admin, but roles cannot be assigned or changed from the app today.)
What members can do
- Fly the company's aircraft and carry the company's jobs.
- See the company's hubs, hangars, stands, routes, fleet and pilots board.
- Refuel a company aircraft with the company's money, if the admin allowed it.
- Leave the company.
What the admin can do
Everything a member can, plus:
- Manage the company: name, country, description, commission, visibility, applications on or off, company refuel on or off. The ICAO code cannot be changed.
- Set the minimum pilot level required to join.
- Review applications: accept or reject pilots, and remove pilots from the company.
- Spend the company balance: buy or rent aircraft, buy hangars, rent stands, create routes, add hubs, upgrade the tier. The admin sees the company's balance in Coins and Points; members do not.
- Cancel a company flight that a pilot has in progress.
- Receive Pilop Points straight into the company when buying points.
What nobody can do yet
- Transfer the company to another pilot. The founder stays the admin.
- Change the ICAO code.
- Promote a member to manager.
