Joining a company

This is the approved revision of this page, as well as being the most recent.

Joining a company is done by applying from the company's page. The company's staff reviews the application and accepts or rejects it.

Applying

  1. Open the company's page from the Companies list or map.
  2. If the company is open for applications, click Apply. If the header says This company is not accepting applications, the company is closed and you cannot apply.
  3. Wait. Your application appears as Pending and you can cancel it at any time. The company's admins see it in their Pending Applications panel, with your level and total flight hours.
  4. Once accepted, you are a member of the company and its aircraft, hubs and jobs become available to you.

A company may set a minimum pilot level to join. The header of the company page shows it next to your current level.

Private companies do not appear in the list and cannot be applied to unless you are already a member.

Leaving

Click Leave company on the company page. Leaving removes you from the roster immediately, cancels any company flight you have not finished, and you lose all the benefits of being a company pilot. To come back you have to apply again and be accepted again.

The company's admin cannot leave. Admins can also remove a pilot from the company; the effect is the same as leaving.
