Discord

This is the approved revision of this page, as well as being the most recent.

The Pilops Discord is the official community server: pilots who want to enjoy Microsoft Flight Simulator, build a career in Pilops, share routes, ask questions, report issues and help the economy feel alive.

Invite link: https://discord.gg/dPbPXs7xZN. You can also reach it from the web app sidebar, under Join our community, or from the footer of pilops.com.

The server has channels in both English and Portuguese.

What it is good for

  • Quick questions about how something works. Chances are another pilot has hit the same thing.
  • Sharing routes, screenshots and the state of your operation.
  • Finding a company to fly for, or pilots for your own.
  • Following announcements. Each update is posted in the announcements channel with a link to the Dev Notes.
  • Discussing suggestions. New ideas are posted on the feedback portal; the suggestions channel mirrors them as a feed, and you can open a thread on any post to discuss it.

For bugs that need the team to look at your account, open a ticket instead. See Support.

Rules

Short version of the server rules. By staying on the server you agree to follow them.

  1. Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, personal attacks or toxic behaviour.
  2. Keep it about Pilops and flight sim. Off-topic is fine in the right channels; product questions, support, routes, screenshots, feedback and updates go in their own places.
  3. No spam or self-promotion. No link spam, unrelated servers, product ads or affiliate links without permission.
  4. Report bugs clearly. What happened, where, and what you expected. Screenshots help a lot.
  5. Do not exploit the economy. Found a bug, exploit, duplicated reward or broken contract that gives an unfair advantage? Report it. Do not abuse it or teach others to.
  6. No piracy or illegal content. No pirated add-ons, cracked software, keys or anything that breaks simulator or add-on licences.
  7. Respect the team's time. Pilops is built by a small team. Feedback and bug reports are read, but not everything can be fixed at once.
  8. Use common sense. If it makes the Discord worse for other pilots, do not do it.
